Pluots!

My dad and I went to the grocery store today after church and saw a large stand in the fruit section marked "Pluots."
They were a sort of mottled puce/yellow/pink, and looked vaguely like nectarines, but smaller.

I couldn't resist.

Evidently they are a combination of plum and apricot, although they seem to favor their plum side, flavor wise. They're sweeter, though, pink/red on the inside, and absolutely delicious!

A Saskatoon is a type of berry that grows in Canada. It looks rather like a blueberry.
