Subjunctive

hazelnut_cafeI've noticed that when I write in Spanish I have the tendency to overthink the subjunctive tense. Apparently I think that more situations convey volition, emotion, or doubt than is actually the case.
That probably says a good deal about my outlook on life, but what do I know?
